How to Open Your Foldaments Globe

Open: hold the globe by its cord and gently press down on the top ridges.

1. Open Your Globe

Hold your Foldaments globe by the cord and let it hang freely. With your other hand, gently press downward on the top ridges until the globe opens.

Secure: slide the cord lock down against the top of the opened globe.

2. Secure Your Globe

Continue pressing gently until the center seam is fully closed. Slide the cord lock down until it rests against the top of the globe, keeping it open.

How to Flatten Your Globe

Flatten: move the cord lock to the cord ends and squeeze inward at the center.

3. Flatten for Storage

Slide the cord lock all the way toward the ends of the cords. Place your hands on opposite sides of the globe at its center and gently squeeze inward until flat.

Helpful Tips & Troubleshooting

Globe looks bowl-shaped? Hold it by the cords and gently shake until both sides pop outward.
Center seam won't close? Apply a little additional downward pressure to the top ridges. Never force it.
Still won't close? Check for misaligned tabs and gently reposition them.
Sides aren't closing evenly? Make sure both cords have equal tension.
Globe won't flatten? Make sure the cord lock is moved all the way toward the cord ends.
